About This Role

As an agent at Connections Call Center, you become the first voice callers hear on behalf of many different businesses. Some calls are quick questions, while others involve booking appointments, relaying important messages, or following client protocols with accuracy and consistency. Each interaction is a little different, but the purpose is always the same: to offer friendly, accurate, and reliable support.

Is this position fully remote?

Yes. This is a 100% work-from-home position. You must have a quiet, private room with a door that closes and no shared or open workspaces.

Will I be answering calls for one company or multiple?

You will answer for multiple businesses throughout your shift. Each call may be for a different client, and you’ll follow the instructions we provide for each one.

How will I receive updates or support while working remotely?

Our leadership and supervisor team stays connected with agents throughout the day. If you ever have a question during a shift, support is available through our internal messaging tools.

What equipment do I need?

You’ll need the following equipment to work from home:

  • PC with Windows 11 or higher
  • Intel i3 processor or better
  • Up-to-date antivirus software
  • Dual monitors (1080p recommended)
  • Headset with a microphone
  • External mouse and keyboard
  • Keyboard compatible with the Startel 104m.Map layout (we will provide keyboard stickers)
  • Webcam

Recommended:

  • Surge-protected powerbar
  • UPS battery backup (keeps you online long enough to properly log out during a power loss)

What type of internet connection do I need?

You’ll need a secure, hardwired (Ethernet) connection to your router. A minimum of 25 Mbps upload and download is required. We will ask you to complete a speed test before training. You can test your speed here.

Is a background check required?

Yes. All final candidates will be required to complete a background check. This is only done with your written consent and is part of maintaining a secure work environment.
